  • 12 Tbs. mild chili powder
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 4 oz. spaghetti or angel hair pasta, broken into thirds
  • 1 15 oz. can chili beans, undrained
  • 1 46 oz. can tomato juice
  • 1 Tbs. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • Shredded cheddar cheese, corn chips, and sour cream (as desired)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add diced onions, mild chili powder, kosher salt, and pepper to the pot; cook until onions are translucent.
  3. Pour in tomato juice and add undrained chili beans; stir well and mix in granulated sugar.
  4. In a separate pot, boil water and cook spaghetti or angel hair pasta until al dente.
  5. Serve chili over pasta in bowls and garnish with shredded cheddar cheese, corn chips, and sour cream as desired.
