Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup dry white apple vinegar or chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 thick slices of French or Italian bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread garlic butter on each slice of bread and arrange on a baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, add to skillet in a single layer, and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and vinegar or broth; simmer for 1-2 minutes. Stir in lemon juice before returning shrimp to coat in the sauce.
  5. Serve shrimp with warm garlic bread.
